AAVC Cycling hall of fame

As part of their education, our little AAVC racers earn certificates for each practice or race they take part in, and the skills and knowledge they acquire. Each certificate tells a little story about the beautiful sport of cycling.

For races, each story is about a racer. With an emphasis on non-active racers, these certificates introduce our juniors to the fabled lore of our sport. Big, historic names. Lesser-known figures. Tragic heroes. Everything that over a century of cycling has produced.

For practices, each story is about a significant aspect of cycling. Equipment, races, concepts, terms, jargon, countries. Stuff you should know if you’re a cyclist.
