2025 AAVC Membership

We are the Ann Arbor Velo Club

Our mission is to develop cycling skills and fitness of our members and promote the sport of cycling in the greater Ann Arbor community. We invite people of all ages and abilities to come and ride with us on the road, trail, and track for fitness, recreation and racing.

How to Join      

• Individual Membership ($30): Click the membership link above, complete the online application/waiver form, and pay with credit/debit card or Paypal.

• Family Membership ($50): Click the membership link above, complete the online application/waiver form for yourself, and pay with credit/debit card or Paypal. Then, each family member will need to submit a signed waiver. Additional adult members may use the electronic waiver and membership form. Families with minor members under age 18 will need to download and fill out the family membership form (PDF) and complete/sign a waiver (PDF) for each child. Please scan and email the membership form and all waivers to info@annarborveloclub.org or you may give them in person to the president and Juniors Coach, Laurens DeJong. Family members will not be considered official club members able to participate in club rides and events until these waivers are received.

Please note, memberships lasts for one calendar year and should be renewed each January. However, we have built an “overlap” into the membership year: if you are joining AAVC for the first time and register after August 31, the following calendar year is included in that membership. After this, your membership will need to be renewed each year.

Options and Add-ons

AAVC + WBWC Joint Membership

We're pleased to announce a joint membership option with the Washtenaw Biking and Walking Coalition for an additional $10!   Note that this is only available as an add-on to your existing AAVC Club Membership.  

WBWC Mission: We promote transportation options for a sustainable and livable community. Our mission is to make Washtenaw County a national leader in bicycling and walking by improving facilities, policies, and community support through advocacy and education.

Ann Arbor Triathlon Club and University of Michigan Cycling

We are pleased to offer a discounted membership to individuals participating in these organizations. Membership in the Ann Arbor Velo Club does not come with any obligation to race for AAVC. We simply welcome you to join us, become part of our community, train and ride! Please inquire with the current head of Ann Arbor Tri or UofM Cycling for the discount code that you will enter during the check-out process.
